Admission for QBA studies – Requirements, Application and Selection Process
Application period begins in March and ends in April annually for studies beginning in August the same year.
Requirements for admission include:
Completion of studies in upper secondary school.
English proficiency that shall be proven by a test during application process.
For applying for the Qualification in business and Administration program, fill in the application form and send it to Porvoo Commercial College with certified copies of your documents and possible CV latest on 30th April. Applications are personal. The applicant should fill in and sign the application personally. We will not handle applications which arrive later than this date.
By mid- May, the school will contact pre-selected the applicants, on order to organize interview either by phone or face-to-face. For this purpose, please include applicant’s own telephone number, preferably mobile telephone number including country code and area code. It is important that we get into contact with the applicant.
The students who will pass the interview and will be admitted for studies, will be notified and will be sent a written letter of acceptance from the college, which is necessary to apply for permit if residence in Finland. The applicants who are not selected will not be contacted.
Upon receiving the written letter of acceptance, the student must confirm the attendance by fax or electronically before the 10th of July. Please check the application date and start the procedure on time, otherwise you might lose the right to study.
Study year starts on second week of August when all accepted students should be present. In case you are facing difficulties with permit of residence issuance, please let us know about it.
